Taylor Dibbert

Taylor Dibbert is a consultant at the US Counsel on Sri Lanka, an independent advocacy group that advises American policymakers on policy options to promote human rights and humanitarian standards, and a sustainable resolution of the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. Before coming to Washington, Taylor worked for human rights organizations in Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. From 2006 -2008, he served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. A frequent commentator on international affairs, his writing has appeared in many outlets including Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, World Politics Review and The Huffington Post. He is also the author of the book Fiesta of Sunset: The Peace Corps, Guatemala and a Search for Truth. Taylor holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Georgia.
