The International Forum for Democratic Studies Research Council is a group of approximately 80 scholars and specialists recognized for their outstanding work and expertise on democracy and democratization. Several Research Council members have recently made significant contributions to the study of democratization by publishing new books on politics, protest movements, and international relations, listed below.
